Titlagarh (also known as Titilagarh) is a town and a notified area committee in Bolangir district in the Indian state of Orissa. Titlagarh is located at 20.3°N 83.15°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 215 metres (705 feet). It was once considered the Hottest place in India (Leaving aside the Thar desert.) It is famous for its rising temperature, particularly in summer.
As of 2001 India census,[2] Titlagarh had a population of 27,756. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Titlagarh has an average literacy rate of 67%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 75%, and female literacy is 57%. In Titlagarh, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Entertainment
From entertainment point of view, there are two parks namely NAC park and government park near lord shiva temple.One can also enjoy the hill top view of titlagarh from kumada pahad. There is a cinema hall near the Railway station in Titlagarh.
There used to be 2 cinema halls namely Jain talkies and Paradise/Kailash talkies. Now only Kailash talkies is there. Also there used to be 2 parks NAC park and Gopabandhu park. The new addition is the govt park near Dhabaleswar temple.
Apart from road-side eateries, there are few good restaurants 1. Chandra Restaurant, on the way to Bandupala. 2. Jayanti Restaurant, Near Shastri Chowk. 3. Marwadi Basa, Near Dharamsala. 4. Mama Restaurant, Near Dharamsala.

There are several picnic spots near Titilagarh. The most famous and easily accessible one is Jhar-Deo-Bandh about 5 km from titlagarh on the way to Belgaon. Every January 1992 Matric batch picnic is held here.
Belkhandi - some 20+ km from Titilagarh on the banks of river Tel. Mathanpala- about 14+ km from Titilagarh is a spot accessible by bikes only. An irrigation water reservoir but a very nice place for picnic. Dumerbahal - around 20+ km from the town on the way to Saintala.
